The Anarchist Poetry Project

Black Cat Community Press is publishing its first book!

We were founded and run by anarchists. So it's fitting that our first book series will be The Anarchist Poetry Project. The first book in that series will be titled:

The Anarchist Poetry Project vol. 1: Building Better Worlds

**Submissions for vol. 1 are closed**

The theme of the book is Building Better Worlds. Poems that somehow relate to that theme within the context of anarchism will have a better chance of being accepted.

In particular, we love speculative literature (scifi, fantasy, hopepunk and other -punk subgenres, magical realism, etc). But even if your poem doesn’t fall into such genres, we still want you to submit it as long as you identify as an anarchist, and your poems are in some way about or related to anarchism and building better worlds.

There is no submission fee, but mutual aid donations are always appreciated. Making a donation does not in any way influence your chances for publication.

A Kickstarter will be launched this summer to fund production and printing of APP volume 1. All proceeds collected form the Kickstarter above production costs will go to fund production of our anarchist, speculative literary journal, Black Cat Magazine.
